Chuck-Taylors.jpgI used to draw ALL the time as a kid - in fact, I drew so much that I would get in trouble in grade school for spending more time creating artwork than mastering math skills.  I'll never forget one of my teachers telling me I would never make anything of my life because I drew too much.  I guess this fueled the fire for some of my rebellious nature and slight disdain for teachers.  Regardless, I started a business at age 18 called Dogman Designs where I customized Chuck Taylor All-Stars and Levi's 501 authentic jeans with an airbrush and Sharpie pens.  Those were some great times!

The last 20 years I have spent developing and creating all kinds of brand identities, printed collateral, and web media for big-time clients such as Eskimoe Joes, BMW, P.G.A. Golf Courses, National Champion Football Teams, and the Green Bay Packers - as well as great churches like Granite State Baptist Church, The Dialogue ChurchNew Direction ChurchGlenstone Chapel, Phoenix Church of Austin and a bunch more!  All of them have been such a tremendous blessing and I guess my teacher was wrong.  I did make something with my life through my artistic talents.

The future used to be something of an after-thought, but as I move closer to 40, I realize there are some things I must complete on my journey.  You will see some of these ideas come to life through my new website - church branding and design consulting, mentoring younger people, sharing life experiences, and church planting.  I am excited and truly believe these all work together for building the Kingdom and for my professional and personal interests.  They are passions that easily compliment each other.  I don't know where it will all lead but that's the excitement of a new adventure!
